Welcome to the NEW Visible Lady of Faith Website. Getting personal with Visible Lady of Faith was a hard decision because I did not how transparent to be. I thought about what I could say that would be honest, encouraging and inspiring, without sounding like being a “victim” of my own thoughts, attitudes and circumstances. This is a vulnerable moment because even though I think I’m more open, as I become more aware of myself and my life as I get older, and have more self confidence, my children still think that I’m still “secretive.” It’s interesting to realize that the image you think you’re portraying to people is perceived totally different or the opposite of who you think you are or would like to be.
I have two bachelor degrees, one in Business Administration and one in Sociology. Career wise, I ended up in the IT field, supporting users with their computer issues. I also write poetry because it gives me the opportunity to express myself and to share my enjoyment of words with others-attempting to encourage and inspire.
My husband is a minister and we have four children-three girls and one boy. We have been married for over forty years. I believe some of the main lessons that I have learned in my relationship with my husband and children are the importance of communication, transparency, self-awareness, forgiveness, unconditional love and patience. I believe all relationships require a level of adjustment because people come together with their different life experiences, opinions, and how they do things…that takes an adjustment to get along, peacefully!
I know there’s a lot of serious challenges going on in the world today like my daughter who is fighting breast cancer. That experience never crossed my mind that one of my children would be fighting for her life. I am saddened by that reality. I have zero confidence in politicians because of their lack of honesty, compassion, empathy and integrity. Other areas of concerns include medical field transparency, climate issues, safe food supply, corrupt leadership, and accountability of police officers that murder innocent people, voting integrity, homelessness, covid-19 pandemic, and unemployment. Which one of these issues can you relate to?

Let’s Get Inspired
Everyone likes to be inspired, motivated and encouraged. We like to feel accepted for who we are and who we can become. The political and social climate of today can leave us hungry for need to feel inspired and wanting to inspire others. It feels good to feel inspired, emotionally and spiritually, especially these days. With evil being comfortable with raising it’s ugly head on the rise, our morals, humility, love, and faith, is in a state of emergency.

What do we know about Faith
What do We KNOW about Faith?
“Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
This scripture tells us that Faith is not something we can see in the physical. Faith is not tangible. Faith cannot be measured with a ruler. But what faith is… is something that we hope for. Whether it’s a job, house, healing of a loved one or healing of ourself, we have faith that what we hope and pray for, will happen. We have not seen that something we hope for, but we have Faith, that that something will come to pass and materialize. Faith is the Believers confidence that when we pray or talk to God, He hears us. He responds to us in different ways, and may not answer or prays in the way that we think they will be answered. We have to have an open mind and pay attention to when and how are prayers are answered.
Sometimes we doubt our Faith. The struggles of life may get so hard that we don’t understand why, so we may loose hope.
